History Of Meiller-Boweld
Meiller-Boweld, previously Boweld Truck Bodies, was established over 30 years ago by two brothers, George and Austen Boden.
In 2017, after many successful years in the industry, ‘Boweld Truck Bodies’ was purchased by one of Europe’s leading manufactures of tippers, hooks, skips & hydraulics, Meiller-Kipper.
With the Boden brothers stepping aside as directors in 2020, a new chapter began with Marc Bithell and Andrew Noble taking over as Co-Managing Directors.
The new Managing Directors first point of call was to upgrade and invest in the paint department by installing a shot-blast booth into the factory to ensure the most premium & long-lasting paint finish possible.
A huge plus point after joining the Meiller Group is that we are now able to produce Skip and Hook loaders in the UK and get the European market leading technology onto the UK’s roads!
